Hello & Welcome!

I am a relational psychodynamic therapist and narrative focused trauma care practitioner living and working in Kitsap County, WA. In my practice, I offer psychotherapy in-person on Bainbridge Island or via telehealth to anyone residing in Washington State. Story Work is open to anyone worldwide.

I fundamentally believe that we are made for connection and as such, healing happens through relationship. Together we can explore the deeper processes that silently and unconsciously shape and drive your thoughts, emotions, behaviors and desires.

Psychotherapy is the deep and oftentimes long work of delving into long-standing emotional, relational and behavioral patterns. We all have habits and hang-ups that are built from years of defenses and coping mechanisms. Ultimately, these can prevent us from continuing to grow and experience life fully in the present. Psychotherapy can be a place to do this deep inner work of engaging our past so we can live more fully into ourselves and connect with those around us.

Specialties

I work with teens and young adults as they navigate the liminal space of becoming who they want to be. So much is happening between the ages of 13-25 developmentally, biologically, emotionally, sexually and practically as people transition into adulthood. It is a joy and delight to get to come alongside teens and young adults during this formative time of their lives.

Childhood trauma impacts us long after we have grown and left our family of origins. It shows up in how we relate to others, how we view ourselves, our patterns of thinking and behaving, and the kinds of relationships we choose to engage in. It is brave and courageous work to enter into the pain of the past in order to gain more freedom to live in the present.

Human sexuality is complex and varied. When stepping into the expansive and evolving spaces of sex, gender and sexuality, I strive to hold a non-judgmental, unconditional positive regard for all people wherever they find themselves in their journey of deepening their connection to and awareness of themselves, their bodies and their desires.
